A Crazy Thanksgiving

Things worked out a lot better than I thought for Thanksgiving.............my Dad offered to have a thanksgiving dinner at his house. I was a little cautious at first because, my Dad recently was remarried to a woman whom I do not like, (because my father left the country without telling me to date this woman since I was 12 years old secretly, and bring her back and now marry her, without so much as a heads up to me...he still will not tell me, I had to find out for myself) although I have not yet met her. I've been unable to bring myself to meet her and have not yet been able to forgive my dad for the choices he's made over the past year. However he reassured me that she is on a vacation in her home town of Manila. SO...My dad and I rushed around the day before thanksgiving, which also happens to be my dad's birthday. We bought all the different ingredients and things, and I went home to prepare them all with my mom. Had a great feast the next evening; the menu? Chicken, instead of turkey. Green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, candied yams, buttered corn, cranberries, and for desert, pumpkin pie and rainbow cupcakes! To top it all off, we even celebrated with some chilled apple cider, my favorite! We were all so stuffed with all that food that by the time that my aunty called asking us to come to HER party, we were dreading it! Hahaha. :) But we went anyways just catching the end half of the party and the movie they were watching....really nothing exciting...the newest Karate Kid movie. We left when it was over and headed down to WalMart to join the black friday sale crowds...man o man the line was outrageous! People were lined up around the building and down the block. When we finished up there we headed to Target, Best Buy , and another shopping center here....we finished the day with a good ol' Wendy's Chicken sandwich!! YUMO! From the sale we got: A 42" HDTV, Blu Ray Player, Dvds, Cds, A Wii, Wii Fit, Steam Mop, and some other things for the household! SO excited to start using all of them!
